Kamiyama Ironworks developed the Unipoint brand as an epoch-making drill screw that has changed the entire functional basis of the screw.
The secret behind the power of Unipoint screws is in the tip, which is made entirely by cold forging. To create this product, we bore a bottom hole into the metal using a sharp drill bit while simultaneously carrying out tap processing. Accordingly, the processes of bottom hole processing and screw fastening, which have traditionally been conducted separately can now be accomplished in a one-touch action using a power driver.
At present, Unipoint screws are widely used in a host of fields including construction-related, metal parts assembly, automotive, home appliances, etc. Wherever they are used, Unipoint screws enable a remarkable improvement in working efficiency while helping to save energy.
Beginning with Unipoint, all Kamiyama brand screws are made using Kamiyama's original design and manufacturing in the company's own production facilities. In addition, Unipoint's revolutionary tip part was born out of the most advanced cold forging theory-based metal mold design and manufacturing technologies.
