Charcoal making is a process for separating wood and bamboo into its solid, almost pure carbon component and its volatile liquid component by means of a chemical reaction known as thermal decomposition.
Under this process, the solid component remains in the kiln as charcoal, while the liquid component evaporates to become smoke, which when cooled and condensed becomes charcoal vinegar.
The Sumiyaki Tatsujin natural style charcoal kiln series is an environmentally friendly charcoal kiln that can be fired by a small amount of wood without the use of fossil fuels.
This device can make a contribution to preventing global warming by fixing carbon through the conversion of unwanted wood and bamboo into charcoal.
