Yamaguchi Seisakusho would like to introduce you to one of the surface processes in which we specialize. Our electropolishing technology method is a way of realizing a smooth and shiny metal surface not by adding something to the original surface but by taking something away. Essentially, the technique involves shaving off the burrs and convex parts of the surface.
We expect electropolishing be used and applied widely in the future as a surface processing technology that draws out the natural beauty of metal. At present, we are developing our technology centered on processes that produce decorative effects.
We have recently developed an original technology for enabling electropolishing to be carried out on the inner surfaces of pipes and similar objects. This technology has gathered attention not only from the decoration world but from a variety of fields where a high degree of precision is required, including in respect of machine parts that have to be free from even the slightest burr or clean room manufacturing.
