Meiwa Gravure manufactures a unique lineup of products that were created through the practical application of a proprietary technology developed by the company known as mold print technology. Our mold print technology enjoys a high reputation and has been recognized by the industry with a technology award from the Japanese Society of Printing Science and Technology.
But never content to rest on our laurels, we are persevering in our endeavors to develop further technology. Our main products are interior goods such as flexible plastic print tablecloths and lace tablecloths, etc., which we sell directly to mass retailers and home centers. For the US market, we have also built up a record of selling shower curtains as an extremely popular basic item.
Recently, we have extended our business to encompass the manufacture of electronic device-use keyboard parts, a field in which we have established a new technology in accordance with our management policy of “applying and developing peripheral technologies”. We are also expanding our production of parts for mobile phone products, which are now being sold overseas as well as in Japan.
Since becoming the first company to industrialize the process of photogravure printing onto flexible PVC film, Meiwa Grauvre has commanded the top share of this interior business field as “tablecloth maker Meiwa”. In addition, we have a unique product lineup that has been developed through the application and development of a number of core technologies.
