Yuwa Marutou uses fine hinoki or Japanese cypress harvested in the Shimanto region of Shikoku Island. Each product is completely crafted in Japan by skilled artisans.
Their barrels are most commonly used for restaurant interior in Japan. The special hinoki wood provides a natural warmth and pleasant smell.
In addition to barrels and casks, Yuwa Maritou makes wooden tubs, half-cut barrels, V-cut casks and other forms in a range of colors and quantities to meet specific needs.
